I was on the Anti-Federalist side and I choose that because I think that people can make their own decisions. When you take power from people they aren't going to be happy and start riots and things like Occupy Wall Street. That obviously isn't a good thing so might as well give power to people. Also when you are having a federal government people will also most likely disagree with some of the laws, but when you have state rights if you don't like a law you can at least move to a new state.

Something that made an impression was how there is federalist and anti-federalist. They differ, to me, like the 99% to the 1%. Federalist think that the more elite people should run the country, they think that "ordinary people" are prone to
Four faces of power: 1. Libby lets him 2. Libby doesn't let him. 3. Sean doesn't it himself. 4. Sean does what she says. What I gathered from the handouts is that the more power you have the more you use it for bad and the less power you have the more for good it is. I drew that into a graph.
What is power?
Power: n. To have the ability to do anything they want, bad or good. Sentences: The man had so much power he became a king or the world... There aren't very many people that make this place a more perfect place but if I had to chose one it would be spider-man. Spider-man gives not just the people of New York someone to look up to but also the world. With his blue and red outfit he symbolizes what everyone needs in their lives; hope, love and power.
I think that everyone should make their own decisions on what you want to do. If you want to be a bad guy so be it, it is your life and you run it. There shouldn't be any sort of higher person telling you every step to make. People learn by failing and succeeding not telling them where to put each step and how to use your legs.
I also think that animals and plants should have at least some rights. Not a ton of them but enough so that they don't live their lives in a factory farms wondering who's meal they are going to be and where their best friend just went. Also there should be a limit to how much money presidents can spend on their campaigns so that their voice and be hear don't their wallets. To go along with money I think everything is just too much. Why do we spend so much money on things we don't need. In example I spent almost $150 on a skateboard and it is pretty ridiculous. |
